New on-line Scottish newspaper - The Caledonian Mercury

Good afternoon all,

Sorry I could not make the UK Gov Barcamp - however, we are making plans for the 3rd Annual ScotWeb2 event in the summer Between then and now, let's hope there are more.

As our two national newspapers are declining, some brave folks have set up a third. It is on-line, will be interactive and citizen-centric and hopefully capture our children's attention more than current print versions. First day unique users exceeded the paid-for circulation of both existing paper titles.

It is called The Caledonian Mercury
