Hi folks. I was really disappointed not to be able to make it on Saturday but I was abroad. I imagine everyone will have seen the conservatives proposed £1 million prize for the best new collaborative platform. I have no wish either to win the prize…

I'm Head of Social Media at the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills. I lead a small team who try to facilitate deeper and more valuable engagement between policymakers, stakeholders and citizens though intelligent use of social media tools and techniques.
