Virtual Parliament

What can you offer other people?

I have created a prototype for a "Virtual Parliament" that allows anyone so submit, rate, and debate ideas for solutions to the UK's issues. I'm hoping this tool will interesting to this community. I'm also in the process of developing a unique debating module that will hopefully increase the quality of debate that can be had in a normal forum.

I also have quite a lot of experience in web & politics, particularly in the area of Direct Democracy. I would be more than happy to discuss any ideas in this area with anyone.

What would you like to learn from others?

I would especially like to learn if anyone else is actively working on a solution to engage the public's input into political solutions. I don't want to re-invent the wheel. I'm also very keen to learn from other people's experience in the web/government arena.
