In Kim's session at the barcamp earlier today on Socialising internal comms and change I posed the question about whether anyone would be interested in a full-day barcamp devoted to internal communications?
I've absolutely no firm details yet, just the mere seed of an idea that people tasked with promoting, championing or managing internal communications and change management have some unique subjects where a knowledge-sharing day such as today's govcamp might prove interesting.
I suggest we start by getting a rough idea to see if the interest is there for this, so if you're interested stick your name under this post. If you've got an idea of what sort of topics you'd like to explore, even better! Tell your internal comms managers and change managers, and if they're interested, better still!
V Interested. Just uploaded a video about our work with Stockport Council on internal comms - it should be appearing on my profile, not sure yet about it appearing elsewhere. (Dave, the problem I raised about uploading vids was clearly down to my home network, as it went up through Google's wifi yesterday without any problems)

Yep I'm in.
Quite like the idea of expanded this beyond government - the private sector are tackling the same issues we are and will have some really interesting ways of overcoming them...
Thanks Dave for offering your and Learning Pool's support.
Kim, I like the brevity of #icuk myself, doesn't seem to have been taken yet, and also opening it up to private & third sector. Of course, saying it is the easy bit :-)
Yes - I'm in & Learning Pool happy to help out with Dave & sponsorship, promotion, etc - sounds like a great & worthwhile way forward - truly sorry I missed Kim's session
This would be very helpful to my organisation as we begin to use social media for internal comms and (we hope) new ways of working across silos in the organisation.
This sounds really interesting. I'm just starting out on the Social Media / Internal Comms journey and it would be really helpful for me to learn from some of the best in the field.
I'm very interested to know if people have experience working across different cultures with social media, and at different levels in an organisation.
Whilst I don't have much experience myself to date, I am happy to provide constructive feedback and engage in discussion.
